while on gomakesomething i found this site that makes you pretty authentic looking boarding passes. you fill in the details and voila!

good girlfriend day?

so yesterday i got the sudden craft urge. like, i literally jumped in my car and drove to elakes just to hit up ben franklin. i love that place. sometimes i wish i could live in there. since kelis birthday is so close to christmas, and im not a very good gift-giver, i decided i'd make a half ass gift for him. behold, yet another stash jar. ok so the two other jars he has arent really his. both are from beau and one has already been given to bryson so yeah, this isnt the worst gift possible or anything. i filled it with six packs of rolling papers. you really cant ever have too many.


to make this, i shredded tissue paper and then gently painted over the tissue paper with a water/glue mixture i had made. i made a rough cut out of a marijuana leaf to use as a window. love seeing buds inside :]


too bad the weed we have right now doesnt look very pretty. personally, i think the high is pretty good so im not complaining too much. again, no name, but apparently its from cali somewhere.



ok now i really want to go smoke.

i love this

all throughout elementary and intermediate school i had, and i have to use this word because i cant think of a better one, this frienemy named adele. a million things come to mind when i think of this girl and all that came with her but to sum it up in a word, annoying. one of the lesser-annoying things i remember of adele are her birthday parties. i believe on 2 separate occasions we played this game involving big wads of newspaper. i dont remember the 'rules' to the game or anything but basically i think we just tore away layers of newspaper to find the surprise on the inside. the surprise was usually something simple, but neat. a unique coloring book, a bunch of plastic bracelets, random things like that.
today, when i was stumbling i landed on this page, which is what brought all these memories back.


these surprise balls are basically the same as adeles newspaper wads, only cute!

i think im going to have to make some of these...maybe christmas gifts?

you wouldnt believe the trouble i went through just to crop this stupid image. apparently im 'ms paint' illiterate. thom made one too!

clearly we havent mastered the virtual splatter paint technique, but im sure were going to have a lot of practice.

in other news, i drank my first full can of monster today. and i liked it.
.99 trail mix is brilliant. trail mix all day errrrrrday.

i end so many posts talking about trail mix...

i love etsy. i think its more dangerous than ebay. there are a gazillion things i want! im in love with this girls artwork. she even makes mini images and sells them as necklaces.
